Told ya so!

Okay, so I think I now have some of my friends addicted to Melaleuca.  They have become members, and all seem to Love the products...told ya so...and it was great getting the phone calls to me saying that they just tried this or that, and can't believe how it turned out!!
I have looked into many ventures on what I wanted to do for work, and I'm really glad I can say that I found Melaleuca.  Not only for the safe products, but for the future it is beginning to give me.  I just hope the end surpasses anything I have ever dreamed of!!!

Sad morning

I am really sad today.  My step daughter is lead to believe things that are so ridiculously crazy that she wants nothing to do with our family here.
She is being raised in a home where, we are lead to believe, her mom and step dad are drug addicts and dealers, and there is nothing we can do about any of it if we can't catch them in the act.  I am sitting here crying over it, while her mom reaps the benefits of having this child around.  Ashlyn deserves so much more then what she has.
We don't have the finances to go for custody or even visitation. Her crazy mother has made it so normally we can't even find her, but the crazy thing is, the Florida courts ordered split custody, and when we moved to Maine, her mom was only to have residential custody, but they changed numbers, we were told they moved, and just couldn't find her.  When the state of FL wanted to change child support for us...they did...she told FL she didn't work, but the funny thing here is...her Facebook page says she works and has been since 11/09 to present...court was in this time period...who is she fibbing to?  Not to mention...did you know...that FL will give food stamps, health insurance, and other benefits to drug dealers, but the families who use it just to get on their feet and continue paying taxes get screwed.  Neither of them work, but ALL their bills are paid, and more!!!  People really wonder about how eff-ed up our system is.  How can the state give such a beautiful girl with so much potential to some maniacal drug whore?!?

Tonight is the first full moon of 2011.  The full Wolf Moon will be the the brightest of 2011, since the moon is closest to earth during winter. Some other names in other cultures include:  Colonial: Winter Moon, Chinese: Holiday Moon, Cherokee: Cold Moon, Choctaw: Cooking Moon, Sioux: Moon of the Terrible, Celtic:  Quiet Moon.   
Night time is such a magical time, and to see it lit up by our wonderful moon is a site to behold!!!  The perfect night to sit here with a cup of herbal tea, a good book, and the view of the moon next to me through the window.
I hope everyone else can enjoy it as much as I do.

Melaleuca Order

So I tried out all my new products from Melaleuca, and am in love!!!
I really can't believe there are Eco-friendly cleaners that do the job right and can impress me!  The exfoliating bar makes my skin so soft, and that is hard to find with my sensitive skin. My daughter is also having less of a problem with her skin allergies, and I haven't had to give her any medicines for itching.
I am so glad to be using these products!

Goals for 2011...

I need to be more diligent in my keeping this blog up to date.
Work hard at developing a routine of committed and disciplined work.

Beginning my New Year out right!

Today was a good day.  Started out with breakfast with my girlies and the Red Hat Society at Sally's for breakfast.  If anyone ever comes to Auburn, Maine make sure to eat a breakfast at Sally's!!  We then went to the Health Spa and had a very much needed soak in the hot tub and mineral pool...Heaven!  I ran some errands with Justin, hubby, and came home for kids to get off the bus, homework, dinner, basketball practice, and then work for 2 hours.  Now I am here.  I am beginning something, but not quite sure what.  I know I am going in the right direction, but the unknown is scary.
I hope tomorrow will be a productive day.
This is the Year, I'm going to OWN!! (no, it has nothing to do with Oprah!)
